I was thinking about how I could create a whole project that would knock, have a groovy appeal with a muddy sound. Something that would piss off the status quo of how music is supposed to sound with regards to hiphop. I never made tracks for mainstream. I make tracks for the cats that ride the public transits, the ones who are on the road and get tired of listening to the same subjects cats rap about. I make it for the ones who just love to have music playing in the background while they're busy working around the house. For that young up and coming cat who lives outside the box and wants to create a new lane for themselves. I want to show them that it's ok to do this. It's ok to have an open mind and explore the forbidden. That's why it's called Rebel With No Pause.
